ABS-CBN assists in burial ceremonies of Ultra stampede victims ABS-CBN continues to provide assistance in the funeral of victims in the Ultra tragedy. Over the weekend, 32 victims have been laid to rest, while 19 have been sent to the provinces. The network also provided transportation assistance to the victims families and relatives who attended the burial.


ABS-CBN stars and executives, in their own time, have also been doing the rounds of the wakes in funeral parlors and residents of the victims to condole with the families affected by the tragedy.

As of Monday, 249 individuals have been reunited with their families. Out of the 608 injured who were treated, only two remain confined in hospitals.

ABS-CBN has focused its efforts in addressing the long-term needs of the families of the Ultra stampede through a three-year rehabilitation program of the 71 who died in the incident.

The network also continues to provide counseling to those who were injured and affected by the tragedy.
