Statement of Oscar M. Lopez on the decision of the Arbitration Panel
Maynilad Water Services, Inc. chairman Oscar M. Lopez, who is currently out of the country, issued the following statement on the decision of the Arbitration Panel to declare that there is no Event of Termination:
"Maynilad and its shareholders are now studying available options very carefully, in light of the complex legal and financial issues discussed in the award.
Meanwhile, Maynilad reaffirms its commitment to continue serving its customers and maintaining its usual high quality performance standards."
